Frequently asked

Everything you need to know before we begin. Still unsure? Send a note.

Do you take custom commissions?+
Yes; commissions are the heart of the Atelier. Custom design, couture, costume, and creative direction all begin with a consultation where we talk through your piece, fit, timeline, and pricing. Start on the Atelier page.
Do you sell ready-made pieces too?+
Yes, a small line. The 2010 Seven Piece is available ready-to-wear in the Gallery, in ash and black. Everything else is made to order.
What are your hours?+
By appointment. Monday–Thursday 8am–7pm, Friday 8am–4pm. Weekends and after-hours are available by request. Booking is through the site and I confirm your time once you've scheduled.
How do I book?+
For a commission, fill out the quote form on the Atelier page and include images so I can give you a concise response and accurate invoice. For a consultation or atelier visit, book directly through the scheduler on that page.
What's your turnaround time?+
It depends on the piece and is confirmed at your consultation. If you need something quickly, use the quote form and select the rush option; it reaches me directly. Rush and same-day carry an added fee.
How do payments and deposits work?+
Invoices under $500 are paid in full before work begins. Invoices of $500 and over require a 50% labor deposit and 100% of materials up front. Materials are billed separately at cost.
What should I include when I reach out?+
Always include images with your request; it means a more concise response and a more accurate invoice. Reference photos, measurements, and the garment itself for alterations all help.
